I’m back, baby.

It’s been nearly five years since my last blog post. Since then, I’ve:

  • Gotten engaged. (Hooray!)

  • Run a marathon.

  • Earned an associate’s degree in computer science with a concentration in cyber security.

  • Began working on a bachelor’s degree. (It’s a lot while working full-time.)

  • Went to the Jonas Brothers convention at the American Dream Mall and spent 3 hours in the wave pool at the DreamWorks water park waiting for them to perform.

  • Cried a lot.

  • Laughed a lot.

  • Picked up new hobbies.

  • Put down those hobbies and then picked up other new hobbies.

  • Really gotten into k-pop. Like really. If I had to categorize myself, I’d say that I’m a #melostaytiny.

  • Started wearing sunscreen regularly.

Did anyone else have a LiveJournal/DeadJournal/Xanga in the early aughts? I miss writing mundane things about my life and then sending them off into the ether.

< marquee>How many times did I just have a single post of marquee text with pointed song lyrics?</ marquee>

Update: That HTML doesn’t work.

I’m thinking that my website can kind of be like my LiveJournal, except now I’m paying for it and hopefully I don’t lose my password. Semi-filtered thoughts and updates with hopefully not too much information. Maybe I’ll write about a new (to me) restaurant, or a book I’m reading, or my marathon training. (Oh yeah, I’m running another marathon in January 2027.)

So if you’re here for the first time, or you’ve somehow been with me since the beginning, thanks for stopping by. Hopefully it’s not another five years before we see each other again!
